Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, from an early age I was inspired by the power and beauty of nature. The ocean and the life that it nurtures especially impacted me. I began deep-sea diving with my father when I was a young boy. My next attempt at embracing the sea resulted in a surfing career, which found me in world-class competition as a teenager.

Traveling the world added to my growing knowledge and appreciation of all that surrounds us. The experience with discovering the intricacies and endless mysteries of the ocean, especially in the South Pacific, resulted in my desire to share it through photography.

I work to improve and develop my art in composition, color, and capturing sea life in unique and exciting ways. I have been participating in epic ocean adventures with the founder of Sea Inspiration for more than 15 years. I am happy that I am able to advocate for ocean conservation and protection with my photography.
